“It happened, and it still happens to me - pushing to the extremes a painting of the moment - to create a work painted with these tools only: blowing, throwing, shaking the colour, that is to say painting, without using the brush or other traditional tools. Shaking the spread colour over the surface so as it finds its path and shape by itself, working as the nature does, thinking that the work of art is the one that must inspire the observer and that the latter has to consider the work of art only, without searching for its origin.”
